Oh heyyyy June! Hey girl! Whatchu up to? Let’s talk June Goals.
Y’all things are POPPIN’ over here at Sincerely Intentional behind the scenes and I promise I will be able to tell you more soon, but for now? I’ve had to cover up some of the goals on my lists (sorry)!
Let’s get to it, shall we?
June Goals: Month
Business woo hoo! I have some lofty goals this month (and next, TBH). The site is getting a facelift, and I’ve been a busy bee writing and creating for a new program and product I’ll be launching later this Summer. Make sure you’re following me on Instagram because I’ll be dropping sneak peeks and hints along the way! 🙂
My dad’s birthday and Father’s Day almost always fall within days of one another, so I’m tasked with making sure the man has a good day! And my sister’s birthday is about a week after that. Since we live in different states, I have to make sure I plan ahead otherwise, I’m the daughter and sister who sends gifts late. And I hate being late. And of course, my husband gets to have a good Father’s Day, too. We’re more about time/experiences than physical gifts around here, so for him? We’re pulling a little cash out of savings to pay off our largest credit card and he gets to sleep in and play video games all day. Woo hoo!
I’ve been slowly working my way through C25K…slowly. But the truth is? I’m not really racing against anyone but myself. So I’m going to do it when I can, and that is enough for me. During the summer months, a local dentist office along with an amazeballs Zumba instructor puts on a program called Zumba for a Cause with all proceeds going to benefit local charities. It happens every Tuesday evening and I go with my girlfriends. We get a chance to see one another during the week, and also have fun exercising and looking like fools. Zumba Tuesdays are something we look forward to every year 🙂
June Goals: Week
I signed up for Brilliant Pinning back in April, and it’s a fabulous course on how to use Pinterest to drive traffic to your blog/website (so if you’re here visiting from Pinterest, HI and thank you! 😀 ). BethAnne teaches you how to look more legit and polished which can make the difference between a sale or a pass…which is kind of a big deal when you’re in business for yourself, amiright?!
Content twice a week, obvs! This blog is my baybayyyy and I have my June content calendar ready to roll. This month I’ll be bringing you all sorts of good stuff on how to use your time intentionally and achieve your Summer goals 🙂
I want to make sure both me and my husband keep our phones upstairs or otherwise out of arms reach after 6pm. Mostly to make sure we are present and connected with our daughter, but also to be present and connected with one another. We’re starting with 3x a week for now.
Groceries under $75. This is TOUGH. But we’ve started going to Aldi (which is like…WHY haven’t I gone here before?!). Our $125 grocery bill has been cut down to $75. We’ve been spending between $50-60 at Aldi, and then the few things we can’t get there, we grab during the week at a different store. This goal is to make sure I keep Aldi as our main grocery spot. $50 a week in savings adds up pretty quickly, you guys!
And cooking dinner at home 3x a week. I was pretty good about this throughout May, but I want to keep it a goal for myself since it’s not quiiiiite a habit yet.
June Goals: Day
So in order to finish Brilliant Pinning this month, I need to do 2 modules or lessons per day on average which is pretty easy to do, thankfully 🙂 And remember how I told you to follow me on Instagram? Do it! I’ll be posting at least one new story and photo every day, sometimes to sneak preview the behind the scenes secret sauce I can’t share just yet.
In order to be as engaged with my family as possible, we’re doing dinner at the table each day, and I want to get outside with my daughter either before or after dinner. Girlfriend LOVES being outside. My marriage is also important to me, of course, and one of the best ways to make sure we’re connected physically is to have a good old-fashioned makeout sesh 😉
Can we also talk about how one of my goals is more water than coffee? I’m an addict. It’s bad. So far so good, though! I’m heading to the library tomorrow to pick up a new book so I can read a little bit every day.
I’ve heard really great things about stretching every day. Good for your mind, good for your body. It’s not full on yoga or anything, just a quick 10 minute thing in the mornings. Mostly, I’ve just been searching random stretching vids on YouTube, but I would love a guided app recommendation if you have one! I use an iPhone.
Dems the June goals! Show me what you’re workin’ with this month, fam!
